Way out West

We headed way out west especially
to visit Kyle on his golden birthday.
Kyle turned one on June 1st.
Hannah took us hiking, seen lots of lizards, fantastic farming, seen slithering snakes, mammoth mountains, made some music, seen some sunshine; a great getaway!

Good morning!

Hannah and Jaylon's house

There goes Jaylon

Snake in the flower bed.....

Snake in the driveway!

 Owls in the backyard

Heading into Cochise Stronghold

Bro. Jared took us to tour a farm that milks 7,000 Jersey cows!
Here is a silage mountain...one of many.

Packing it down

Washing the calves' milk bottles

Coming in to get milked

Scraping down the silage to feed to the cows.

It's not unusual to see mines here and there as your driving down the road in Arizona.

 Hiking into Fort Bowie.
This is where they brought Geronimo
when they finally captured him.

This place is for sale....anyone interested?

There are some flowers in dry Arizona!

We had a good time at Kaitlyn's house!

Jubilee showing us the chickens.

Time to water the grass!

Hope you enjoyed coming to Arizona with us!

Music on the Water

"An oarman can only tell, the tip of the oars when it tips those waves, the music it makes on the water. Oh, no wonder the Spirit of God moved on the water first."
   61-0205E  Bro. Branham

Queenie was helping to watch for rocks.

 These ducks were so pretty!

We saw three eagles while canoeing, but I only got a picture of this immature one.

Queenie needed to stop for a few minutes.....

Wonder who lives here?

Our destination......Yordy's Bridge

Waiting for the truck to come.

At last,  our pickup man arrived and helped us load the canoes.
Thanks Nathan!

Honeysuckles and Happiness

Oh, if we would only get quiet and alone with God, how the dew would strengthen us, take the wilt out of us and make us fresh. Did you ever go into a rose garden early of a morning? Did you ever go into a honeysuckle bed early of a morning? And the whole air is just bathed with fragrance. Oh, how I love that. Down in my part of the country in Indiana, I'd get up early and turn on the switch key and get out somewhere where the locust, or the honeysuckles, when they're blooming. And I just set by the side of the road and just, oh, how I just love to smell it, and to look at it, and see those little honeysuckles standing up.
   56-1002E  Bro. Branham
We are blessed with honeysuckles all over the place and I love to smell them!

Here's what happens when you fly into a glass door and daze yourself.....It flew away after a little bit.

Each evening like clockwork these two geese come flying in from somcwhere.  They make a lot of noise just  a-honkin and a-honkin as they land in the field next to us.

These wild baby bunnies decided to leave the nest today.

Badminton anyone?
