Wonderful Week

What a wonderful week we've had!

Hiking and climbing, hunting, travelling in the middle of the night,

surprises, family, friends......

We decided to go hiking one day and Karl just randomly pulled in

to this parking spot on the mountain.....

So we randomly decided to hike up this trail......

We looked up after awhile.....

We're at Boxcar Rocks!

We were here about 5 years ago and didn't remember

where they were located.

Now we know.

They are giant rocks that are supposedly

 made by  natural formation.

It's hard to believe because they look like a big wall.

 It was definitely worth the hike and climb!

 This picture probably doesn't surprise anybody.

The deer killer.....

Our 'deer killer' also knows how to crochet.

Here are some of her fingerless gloves.....

AND she's a pretty good cook too!

We love our Faith!

So we left at midnight one night and drove straight

to the hills of KY to surprise my mom and dad

for her birthday.

AND to see Jaylon and Hannah and the boys.

It was so fun!

We were in time for breakfast! haha

We even got to go down and visit Granny Smith.

5 generations there.....and Jaylon ;o)

Hillbilly Billy told lots of stories and sung lots of songs!

Happy Birthday Mom!

Uncle Billy brought over some lion head bunnies to show Kyle.

And he brought Kyle a homemade bow for him to shoot.

Kyle was really impressed!

Of course while the guys were outside they had to check out Billy's truck that he restored.

Oh boy! Kyle got to get on Grandpa Riley's school bus!

Then we took off to Jeffersonville to visit the rest of the Riley's.

I didn't get pictures of that.  I was so tired I forgot to take pictures.

Sunday was special.

Owen was dedicated by Bro. Joseph.

They also got to visit Grandma and Grandpa Brandt!

Hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas!

 We're just anchored away in Jesus Christ, going home to glory, having a good time while we're going along, God providing everything for us. Marvelous.
