Goin' to see Owen!

We were so excited to be goin' to see Owen!  

Kyle got a new baby brother and it was time for us to go meet him.

Before we went to Hannah's, we drove up to see the Grand Canyon, drove down to see some Indian ruins, drove a beautiful drive through the Sedona area, stopped in to see the Desert Museum in Tucson, and seen miles of Saguaro Cactus.

We stayed the night at the Cameron Trading Post which was run by Navajo Indians

It was monsoon season while we were at Hannah's.

It rained everyday we were there.  

Lots of rain.

I collect rocks from where ever I go...
Arizona has some pretty neat ones.

Just June

Here we go for a monthly blog post.  This one is just things that happened in June.  I went along with Faith on her trip to Still Waters to babysit my nieces and nephews while my sister and her husband helped at Still Waters.
While I was that close to Kentucky, I made a quick trip with Natalie to see my Mom and Dad.
Back home again we've been hiking and "just enjoying June."

I made it back to the house.....

Here is a deserted homestead back in their woods....

Natalie the feather finder...she finds them everywhere she goes!

 Every morning I took walks down 
their country road for Quiet Time.
The early morning dew, sun, fields, 
and animals were so neat to see and smell.

"Oh, if we would only get quiet and alone with God, how the dew would strengthen us, take the wilt out of us and make us fresh. Did you ever go into a rose garden early of a morning? Did you ever go into a honeysuckle bed early of a morning? And the whole air is just bathed with fragrance.

I seen this coon every morning.  
I also seen deer there and a turkey
in this same spot.

The early mornings were so relaxing....

They have  lots of cranes in that area!

After camp was over, Natalie and I took a girls road trip to KY

The blue birds at mom and dad's are crazy.
As soon as you park they land on your mirrors 
and dirty up your car.  So my dad put bags on the mirrors 
to try to protect the car but they still came.
